Stachys sp – Hedgenettle 1gallon

We carry several species of Hedgenettle, Stachys Rigida and Stachys Bullata, both of which are water loving herbs found in southern California. This is a soft, not too woody species with beautiful white to pink-purple flowers and a wonderful fruity scent. It does well in shady conditions, as wetlands and stream banks are its usual domain, but sunnier spots will do as long as it has consistent water. Ponds, water features, and shady gardens can all benefit from this extra burst of light foliage and fragrance.  It can spread quickly, and will regrow easily if cut down, so if it loses leaves or dries out, it can easily be prunes and will grow back. This also makes it ideal for container gardens.
