Dudleya Edulis, ladyfingers, fingertips, or whatever you call it, this is a striking succulent widespread across southern California, but not into the desert. The tentacle like leaves reach heights well under a foot, and will form clusters of multiple rosettes. Flowers pop up on tall stalks and are small white clusters. A no-brainer if you like succulents, and will support local butterfly and moth species as well. Prefers rocky or sandy soil, and like most Dudleya, it will do well planted at an angle. Unlike more wide leaved Dudleya however, it is somewhat more tolerant of being planted on flat surfaces.
