Achillea millefolium – Yarrow 1 gallon

Yarrow is a beautiful, feathery creeping ground cover that typically grows in grassland and forests. A short plant only growing a few feet tall at most, when flowering. Yarrow works well as part of lawn replacement, or in general as a great plant for slightly shadier areas, or areas with more moisture. Yarrow can be quite drought tolerant however, but will look healthier with some regular watering. Full sun with only monthly watering, such as with with sage scrub species, won’t be great for Yarrow, but with a bit of regular water, and especially with a bit of shade cover it can be aggressive and spread quickly through runners. Host to several moth species as well as having several medicinal uses, yarrow is a great species for many locations.
